THE STORY OF The Green Man

Dating back to the 1800s, The Green Man is one of Fitzrovia’s most established watering holes, at the centre of a London district that counted George Bernard Shaw, Virginia Woolf and Dylan Thomas amongst its creative community over the years.

The Fitzrovia pub scene has grown from a collection of clandestine drinking dens and clubs, where the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd used to play, to an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and pubs, including The Green Man with its pioneering vegan and veggie food offering.
